Utilizing the unique perspective and information network of our locally based staff, we will do our best to always bring you the latest everlasting summer information on Saipan!
[About functions]
◆Map search & navigation function
Your current location will always be displayed on the map as long as you have a secure internet connection.
You can select the type of map, display information on nearby restaurants, cafes, tourist spots, etc. on the map, and check directions.
You can also select "display pins" as you like, and only the categories that need to be displayed can be displayed on the map.
◆Shops & tourist information
When you select a facility of interest from the list organized by category, a pin and name will be displayed on the map. For items with more detailed details, a "Details" mark will be displayed at the top right of the page. Tap the name or "Details" to move to various detailed information pages. Some stores have special coupons set up for Pocket Saipan, so please tap "Coupon". Just show this screen to the store staff when ordering! The above can be used even when the communication line is OFF, so if you download it in Japan in advance, you can use it even when there is no communication on Saipan.

[About Internet environment settings on Saipan]
1 For those using the overseas unlimited package plan
You can use the app under a 3G line with the same settings as in Japan. If the location information acquisition and GPS functions are turned on, your current location will always be displayed on the map.
2 For those who have rented a portable WiFi device such as Global WiFi
Set "Settings" → "Wireless & Networks" → "Mobile Network" → "Data Communication" and "Data Roaming" to "Off". This turns off mobile data and limits all communication to WiFi. Also, at this time, set "Airplane mode" to "Off". For more information, please also check the instruction manual of the rental WiFi device.
3 People other than the above who always have airplane mode on
Although it is possible to use the GPS function, real-time, high-definition tracking is not possible, so the position information will contain an error of up to 500m, so you cannot fully utilize the functions of the app as a navigation system, but it is equipped with an illustrated map that can be used offline.

This app is free. There is no charge for viewing each information (communication charges required).

When you download this app for the first time, it may take up to 10 minutes even in a WiFi environment as content data including images will be sent from the server. Therefore, we recommend downloading under a good network environment such as WiFi or LTE. In addition, only the latest data difference will be sent when starting from the second time onwards.
